A Merry Day Indeed....

Here I sit (at my sil's MAC!  LUV it!), pondering the last few days.

I have no image to share.  Yet.  Uploading and playing are being reserved for a more simple, quiet moment.  For now, family is the focus.  My crazy, fun, silly, LOUD, goofy family.  Joshing around the kitchen, playing darts, telling my bro's kids about all the crazy things he did and said when we were growing up.... making food, "making myself at home" :D  My sil will get this one.  Loving every minute.

It's hard sometimes to understand why our lives are the way they are.  The paths we take, the years away from one another.  We wonder why it has to be so long.  Why do we only get to see each other once every 7yrs?  Why such an enormous amount of time?

Maybe for this one purpose.  I found out that apparently my young niece has been praying for months, destitute, devastated, dying inside, praying for us to come for Christmas.  This being an impossible thing, my sil told her to just pray (she has no answers).  She did.  God made it possible.  We showed up.  She told my sil, "Mommy, I know now that God answers my prayers!"

There is no better reason in my book.  God is great and greatly to be praised.  ESPECIALLY tonight :)  May He bless and keep you, grant you peace and joy beyond your wildest dreams!
