He decided to throw the party of the year. Blacklight, neon, music and fun. She decided to attend with a friend. It was through this chance meeting that they found each other.
He found her adorable, fun and obviously gorgeous (who wouldn't?!). This was someone he had to get to know. He chose to follow her around that night in hopes of discovering more about her. She, the daughter of a DC cop, was decidedly a little unsure of this guy that kept hovering around. Though the words of wisdom from her father were ringing in her ears, something about this guy was different. So normal, so.... natural. But more decidedly, special. She wanted to find out more. She did :)
It wasn't but a few days later that he picked her up for their first date. He is usually outgoing and boisterous, not highly intimidated or quiet :) However, that night was different. She affected him in a way he had never experienced before. He was speechless. After a while, the nerves finally subsided and on their way back, he found himself unable to stop talking. It was as if they had always known each other. Comfort filled the car and they have been together ever since.
He calls her his fun-loving, vibrant, spirited, little ball of sunshine. He was mesmerized the moment he met her and he wonders to this day how she could have ever decided to be with him. She loves the way he makes her feel. It's deeper than a laugh, warmer than a smile, more comforting than being engulfed by family. He makes her feel like she's on top of the world. She feels like she can do anything, as long as she is with him.
He is real with her. She is real with him. And together.....
